Focus on the breath. Whenever there is a shift in your life, think of the breath as the rebirth. Imagine pushing yourself out of a canal and wailing like a baby.
The shift happens every moment the focus is on the breath. The breath is the connection to all. Surrender to the breath. Focus on the breath to clear the mind. It is the synchronicity of the breath and heart beat to orchestrate in harmony.
Take a moment of Gratitude. Breathe in. Breathe out. Take a moment of love. Breathe in. Breathe out. Take a moment of peace. Breathe in. Breathe out. Take a moment of stillness. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Pause the day to meditate. Meditation is the first line of defence for stress.
Why focus on the breath during stress, tragedy, trauma, illness or death of someone close to our hearts? When we want to suffocate our pain, we want to drown it with overeating, drinking, drugs or overwork so we don’t have to think about it or feel it.
To experience the wailing like a baby is actually good for the heart. Get it out! Surrender to the pain. It is uncomfortable but it is okay to feel this way.
Being vulnerable opens up to the True self. Being vulnerable shows the compassion for others. Being vulnerable makes us realize we are all here to live our True purpose till our last breath.
I recently went to a friend’s funeral. I was shocked to see how cancer can eat you alive. I felt off balance and went for a debriefing session with my psychotherapist. It made me realize how important it is to celebrate precious moments with loved ones while they are here on Earth. Risk to take opportunities to grow in my True potential.
It is so easy to stuff my emotions with food so I can’t feel the pain but it does not go away till I wail like a baby to make peace with myself to let go when someone close to my heart dies.
Hopefully I inspire one person to take the leap of Faith to live their heart’s dream. Follow the breath to connect to the heart and listen. Speak Heart speak. Greatness is our True potential. Don’t waste your breath on stupidity, anger, hatred and regrets.
When you take your last breath, what do you want to say?
I don’t know yet but I will think about it.
